| Physical and Chemical Properties | Dark red powder, odorless. Soluble in water, glycerol and propylene glycol, ethanol-soluble, insoluble in oil. It is red in neutral and acidic aqueous solutions, and dark red in alkaline conditions. Light resistance, good heat resistance, alkali resistance, resistance to oxidation and reduction of poor. Mouse oral LD5010g/kg,Adl 0~7 mg/kg(FAO/WHO,1994). Allura red aluminum Lake is orange-red fine powder, odorless.
